Título: Engineering squeezed vector beams in an optical parametric oscillator
Abstract: Vector beams have become a subject of interest due to several interesting features they exhibit. So far, little attention has been devoted to their quantum optical aspects, although the first experimental achievements start to appear in the literature. They can be viewed as non separable combinations of spatial and polarization modes. In this seminar we will discuss interesting properties of second harmonic generation with vector beams that inspire a possible OPO architecture to directly deliver squeezed vector beams.
