Título: Radiation reaction for spinning bodies via EFT

Resumo:

We investigate radiation reaction effects due to spin on the dynamics of binary compact bodies, using an effective field theory framework. We compute the radiation reaction accelerations due to spin-orbit and spin-spin effects at leading order and, for the first time, presente finite size effects in radiation reaction. Also, we investigate how the spin evolution of the compact bodies is affected by the radiation reaction, at the order of interest.
