Título: Electronic Properties of twisted bilayer graphene

Graphene have become a major topic of study by many groups due to its unusual an outstanding properties.  Structures based on graphene show completely different behavior depending on the way they are stacked together. We will show how the electronic properties of  bilayer graphene change when we rotate one of the layers. The electronic and optical properties have an angle dependent puzzling behavior that we will try to reveal.

We will cover in our presentation our research in twisted bilayer and trilayer graphene and some of the numerous publications in this topic by several groups.
