Physical spectrum from confining propagators
Palestrante: Marcelo Guimarães (UERJ)
Resumo: In the study of the low energy properties of QCD one has to face the challenge of making sense of unphysical propagators associated with the confined gluon and quark excitations. The main task is to extract the physical spectrum from these confining propagators. In this work an overview of the methods and results for the pure Yang-Mills theory spectrum at lowest order is presented. A first step in the study of the interacting theories is also discussed in the context of a scalar toy model.
