Título: Limitations of and Hopes for Physical Quantum Annealers

Abstract: It is yet unclear whether even ideal quantum annealers can perform certain tasks better or faster than their classical counterparts. I will discuss the results of several ongoing studies that suggest the existence of several limiting factors to, as well as a couple of promising directions for, physical quantum annealers.
